Bowing to New Responsibilities… Bowing to New Happiness

The Caption means, Both the bride and the groom are bowing and graciously accepting the new Responsibilities and also New Happiness

Captured this in a friend’s wedding in Feb 2012. The place is Dhandhuka in Gujarat.
In a marriage, if out of all the members of the family all you are in acquaintance with is the guy getting married, then the best you can do is sit back relax and enjoy the wedding and the food.

But in such a scenario if you choose to shoot some pics to feed the photographer in you, get yourself prepared for many things to overcome before you can capture some pics. The people are too busy to pose or adjust for you, which is understood, accepted and respected.

Here I did try to capture a pic once the flash light is off, but flash light off and I getting a good pose was something I couldn’t synchronize.

At the end shot this will the flash light on. So is the too much bright light from the right. Keeping a low ISO or any such change to reduce light intake was something which didn’t click as that time was a fresh affair between me and my camera, or should I say me and photography. Did whatever I knew in Photoshop to reduce the effect and I did succeed to some extent. (Wooh … quite a lot I wrote to explain the flash light from the right :P :P :P )

Stylish Intoxication ;) – Republished

Captured this about a year ago… Published it about 10 months ago… Publishing this pic again because of the following reasons

- I felt that dropping the borders would be better
- Wanted to change the watermark
- I am in love with this pic… These were the initial days with my SLR and was fortunate enough to get such a calm subject… And I am not so sure, but I guess it was my first portrait (hope this can be consider as a portrait). :)

The first published version is Intoxication with style
